Fundamentals

So I started playing SF4 exactly when Super came out. This was my first game in the fighting game genre and let me tell you that the learning curve when you start out is huge. There was just so many things to learn and it felt like I was never getting better. You can visualize the learning curve as an exponential graph. You slowly learn about the game bit by bit but as you put the pieces together about what you have learned, your understanding becomes more apparent on what it takes to become a solid player. And what i mean by that is fundamentals. This is key to everything you do on in life. If you can grasp the fundamentals you are able to be more effective/consistent at what you are doing. People who are well trained in the fundamentals usually possess a stronger degree of confidence in their ability. However, only proper preparation and presentation of these fundamentals will produce that confidence. If you can instill this among yourself, you could potentially master anything. In this blog I will go into detail on the different elements of SF4 from other people because I am still considered a novice you could say.
